Flying Over Rocks
This is quite an interesting perspective. This is part of the "spay and prey" strategy of photography. I tried using my 400mm, but I couldn't get the focus right. 200 might have been possible.
Stonecrop Growing In Rock
These stonecrop were growing in the rock really close to the ocean. I was impressed how good they looked - they didn't look like they had been stepped on or eaten.
Looking at the results on iNaturalist, this is an invasive species.
Vein Of Crystal In Rock
This granite is very hard. The crystals by comparison are soft and will shatter into small pieces if you strike them. Your job is to find cracks in the granite and use them to open up crystals.
Eagle On Beach Rocks
I have never seen a Bald Eagle behave like a Great Blue Heron. These birds were grabbing fish near shore and returning to rocks to eat.
