Glowing Goldfish With Rock
This image was a real coincidence of light. The glowing fish (caused by murky water) only really showed up where the fish was in sunlight but most of the image was in shadow.
Lava Rock Coastline
Probably the worst swimming beach ever. The rock is wickedly sharp and unpredictable and the waves crash hard. We stopped to use the bathroom.
Stonecrop Growing In Rock
These stonecrop were growing in the rock really close to the ocean. I was impressed how good they looked - they didn't look like they had been stepped on or eaten.
Looking at the results on iNaturalist, this is an invasive species.
Flying Over Rocks
This is quite an interesting perspective. This is part of the "spray and pray" strategy of photography. I tried using my 400mm, but I couldn't get the focus right. 200 might have been possible.
