Boy In Abandoned Village
This was my guides cousin. He lived in the only standing house in what used to be a village. The older buildings in the village became farm buildings.

Shepherds Cabin
The Cabin is tiny - there is sleeping space for 1 and standing up would be a challenge. Apparently it was built by John and Frank Ronacher in the 1950's when they used the meadows as summer pasture for their sheep. It hasn't been used since the 70's and it's nearly falling apart.

Plants Growing Out Of Building
My Aunt (in law) said this building probably hasn't been maintained since world war 2.

Skookumchuck Church of the Holy Cross
It's hard to do this justice. There are abondonded cars parked near by and the steaples are starting to bend over. The perspective is messed up by the wide angle.

A Bomb Memorial
This building is pretty much all that is left from the original blast damage, and it's small compared to the surrounding city.

The Broken Building Next Door

This is the broken resort next to us - the Kona Lagoon.
It's a 454 room resort that closed in 1988 and never reopened.

Derelict Fish Processing Plant

This building (It says "Pacific Canadian Fisheries Inc") is between Shearwater and
Bella Bella. I'm not sure what the story is.

Load of Spray Cans

When a load of logs is ready for market, it is sprayed with paint
and tagged.  These are the partially used remains of the spray can depot.

Hundreds of Spray Cans

When a load of logs is ready for market, it is sprayed with paint
and tagged.  These are the partially used remains of the spray can depot.
Most cans still have paint in them and some cans have already burst.

Museum Entrance

This used to be the co-op store.  Before that it was the Hudsons Bay Company.
The bottom floor now has a museum where all the valuables from the town has been placed.

This used to hold two fire engines and an ambulance.  It's empty now.

Tool Shop at Ocean Falls

This massive building is one of the few left from the pulp mill site that used to be here.
It is privately owned and is currently being renovated.

Buildings in Ocean Falls
The closest building is now a lodge but I believe it used to be a telecom building or a bank. The buildings behind it used to be apartments and a hotel but now they are abandoned.

Wrecked Interior of Apartment

Some of the apartments in Ocean falls had their doors open so we
invited ourselves in to take a look.

Collapsed Cottage

There were a number of cabins Wallace Bay.  I think this cottage was built over a creek
(which would have been cool, but noisy) but it looks like the foundation gave out.
